The Teaching Professor Digital Library (TPDL) is an on-demand streaming service that helps you to easily, quickly, and effectively learn and implement immediate strategies from the best and brightest minds in higher education. The Teaching Professor Digital Library (TPDL) gives faculty and staff quality e-learning resources to support excellence in higher education. Access hundreds of seminars and professional development videos from top experts. Professors and administrators alike will find inspiration to build student and institutional success.

As a member of our campus community, the TPDL is available to all faculty and staff through our campus subscription. TPDL has also been integrated with Canvas and may be accessed through the Canvas Dashboard. 

The Teaching Professor Digital Library (TPDL) is available to the entire Seton Hill community. The Seton Hill subscription requires each user to create an account using their complete SHU email address and a password of their design--registration only has to be completed once. Thereafter, each subscriber has instant access to the subscription by logging into SHU's unique URL with their email address and password set up during registration; the link is available through MYSHU tools. Once their account is created, and they have registered, faculty and staff will have unlimited access from any computer, whether it is on- or off-campus. TPDL has also been integrated with Canvas as an External Tool for use within the LMS.

To register to use the TPDL: 

1. Go to https://www.magnapubs.com/register/

2. Enter information in the required fields > Submit -- NOTE: if you get an error that your password does not match:

   • Go to https://www.magnapubs.com/profile/lost-password/

   • Enter your email address > Reset Password

   • Once the password has been reset, go to the URL in Step 4 below to complete the registration process and log in

3. Once successfully registered, you will see a screen "Thank you for completing your registration"

To access the TPDL:

4. Go to SHU's unique URL to access the TPDL (available on MYSHU, Tools): 
   https://www.magnapubs.com/profile/join-sitelicense/fbf376065151dfa6a7bb94958c735b70

5. On the right side of the page, in the "Username or email address" box, enter your SHU email address 

6. Enter the password set during the registration process > Login

7. On the My Account page > Join Team

8. On the My Online Access page click the appropriate orange "Go to..." box for access

For TPDL subscribers: You will be taken to the dashboard for the institutional subscription. Scroll to search or locate the materials you wish to access or view.
